Level: Advanced (pre-requisite wheel II)*

Wheel III is designed for the studio potter that is interested in using advanced processes on the pottery wheel. These processes would build on prior knowledge and experiences gained in our introductory coursework. The course will challenge the student to enhance their proficiencies through pushing larger, more refined forms, additions, alterations and surface. The instructor will share in discoveries and experiences that have led to his successes, and work collaboratively with students on the elements involved in gaining a distinctive style to your current body of work.

Clay is an excellent stress reliever – come and get your hands messy!

• It is highly recommended, due to the intensity of work, for students to utilize additional studio time to complete work.
• Students may come in outside of class during open hours at no extra charge. Tue-Thurs 10am-9pm, Fri & Sat 10-3pm  (Sunday closed to non-members)
• Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
• Trim nails short and leave rings/watches at home
•  Free Parking in back
• 12 person maximum (wait-list is available for additional people)
