Family Hand-Building Class

Enjoy a fun day out with your family over winter break. Choose from the class that best fit your group. Families with children under 14 should choose the hand-building class.  In this class Children 6+ and Adults will choose to roll out soft clay into flat slabs using the slab roller which will be formed into plates, cups or bowls or they can create pinched pot animals. The items can then be decorated with a variety of colors.  We will fire and apply a clear glaze over the next 3 weeks and call you when it is ready to pick up.

Family Pottery Wheel

Teens 14+ and Adults will work on the potters wheel to create a bowl or cup. When they are finished “Throwing on the Wheel” they will add beautiful colors to their creations. All pieces need to be fired in a kiln up to 2200 Degrees and this takes time. We will call you in about 3 weeks when its ready to pick up!

Special Notes:

• Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
• Trim nails short and leave rings/watches at home
•  Free Parking on 71street and in back
• 10 person maximum (wait-list is available for additional people)
• All pieces need to be fired in a kiln up to 2200 Degrees and this takes time. We will call you in about 3 weeks when its ready to pick up!
• Class is non refundable 7 days before class (unless we are able to fill your spot)
