Gallery Opening & Artist Talk: Nov 15, 6-9pm Ann Wydeven & Ben Tyjeski

We are excited to present two Milwaukee artists creating art in public spaces as well as for an individuals home.

Ann Wydeven is a storyteller, mosaic colorist, and naturalist working in clay. Her work embraces folk traditions of the craft object  with surface experimentation using pencil, mosaic and found objects.

Ben Tyjeski creates faience tiles in the Arts & Crafts tradition. He finds inspiration from exploring the craft of old homes and buildings then bases his designs largely from observations. Het then starts the creative process in his sketchbooks while hiking in nature.  Ben’s fantasy-themed tiles are nostalgic of his childhood drawings.
