September Member of Month 2019

Wonderful art (i.e. Elizabeth Porter’s) be it music, literature, painting, sculpture and pottery, etc. always draws one in and always leaves unanswered the question of who or what was the inner inspiration for the artist.  And that’s what makes us keep coming back for more of the old and wanting more of the new. 

Clay has been a part of her life since her first “hand print” in clay at her Grandmother’s home.  From sculpting on the beach to small sculptured pots, Bits has never been one to color inside the lines, preferring to draw her own lines, then ignore them and let the clay tell her where it’s going.
